Brainchild and hobbyhorse of Japinder Kaur and Tarnpreet Singh, JAP FILMS LLC was founded in 2011, with a vision to make Contemporary Indian Cinema. Having our base in Dubai, we have a vision of integrating Bollywood and our lifetime Dubai experiences to create memorable stories.

Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend was the last production of Jap Films, having released worldwide on 20th March 2015.

Apart from feature film production, we foray into a range of services and creative’s in the fields of postproduction, animation, TVC’s, music videos, corporate films and have built a notable clientele in Dubai.

Always looking towards the future, JAP FILMS LLC is determined to achieve their goals of placing the UAE and India on the global map of international cinema by showcasing their movies to a worldwide audience.

About Japinder

Born and brought up in Dubai, Japinder started her career as a news producer and presenter with Dubai based City 7 News. Having a degree in Television production, she moved to film school in Mumbai and made award winning short films and documentaries.

She was the assistant director and has worked for the post production and PR campaigns for the Prakash Jha’s hit film Aarakshan which was released in 2011. Japinder has also spearheaded many famous TV commercials and assisted a couple of other directors such as Shashant Shah (Challo Dilli) and Koushik Sarkar in Mumbai as well as Dubai.

She started work on the script of her debut film Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend in late 2012, after which there has been no turning back and the film released on 20th March 2015. Music being her forte, DZG had a super hit music album and fared very well.
